Michał Gembicki resigned from the position of a member of the management board of Klabater. His duties will be taken over by the co-founder of the company and the current board member – Robert Wesołowski.
On November 7th, this year, Michał Gembicki joined the Supervisory Board of Klabater SA. The partners signed an agreement that provides, among other things, consistent voting at the General Meeting of Shareholders and authorizes Robert Wesołowski to purchase 1,328 million shares of the company from Michał Gembicki by 2025. The company will continue its current strategy.
“The decision to resign from the management board of Klabater SA was one of the most difficult decisions I had to make in my professional life. I have been one of the founders of Klabater involved in the company for the last five years. I have experienced many wonderful and inspiring moments in the organization. However, I feel it is time for changes. The video game industry is evolving fast, and managing a public company exposed me to huge pressure, from the market, associates, and shareholders. After five years of intensive work, I would like to stop for a moment, think about new directions, and devote more time to my family and friends. Nevertheless, I do not cut off the ties between myself and Klabater. I remain a member of the Supervisory Board of the company, and I still intend to actively support the current management board and employees of the company – my colleagues – in the implementation of the company’s ambitious plans”
says Michał Gembicki.
According to the agreement concluded between the current management board members, by the end of this year, Michał Gembicki will hand over his operational responsibilities to Robert Wesołowski and the company’s key managers. After this period, Gembicki will continue to support the company in areas related to business development and advise on its key projects
“I thank Michał very much for the years of cooperation and his commitment to building the company. We will continue to work together to strengthen Klabater, although in a slightly different formula than at present. Today the company has stable foundations, a steadily growing catalog, and new strong game brands. We are confident about its future
says Robert Wesołowski.
The recent most anticipated premiere is ahead of the company. December 1st marks the debut of the PC version of Moonshine Inc., a management tycoon in which the player runs his moonshine business. It is not the end of this year’s launches, though. In 2022, Klabater will release a tactical retro game – Kaiju Wars (PS4, Xbox One, NS), the best-selling RTS – As Far As The Eye (PS4, Xbox One), and the recognized RPG card game Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Manager (PS4, Xbox) with all its add-ons available on PC.
