Recently, we’ve received a few comments and messages regarding the costs of production, margin, shipping, and generally speaking, what the prices of all of that are. So the time has come to talk about business. Like an innkeeper with an innkeeper.

Let us present you with some details and costs break-through, so you know what we are trying to crowdfund over here as well as with some details on what the actual costs of the pledge will be.

First about final pledge costs with shipping, and taxes (based upon Standard Edition details).

All the calculations were based upon the assumption of min. 2 000 units production batch.

For EU backers:

Standard Edition Pledge: 50 Eur

Shipping in EU: 9 Eur

Calculation: 50 Eur (Pledge value) + 9 Eur (Shipping services + 23% PL VAT) = 50 Eur + 11 Eur = ca. 61 EUR

For US backers:

Standard Edition Pledge: 58 USD

Shipping to US: 21 USD

Calculation: 58 USD (Pledge value) + 21 USD (Shipping services + no VAT) = 58 USD + 21 USD) = ca. 79 USD

Important note here: We use EU-based logistics, so delivery time in Europe and in the US should be much shorter then delivery from China.

Backers outside the US and UE will need to add their specific duties and other local taxes thus we can not simplify this to a one general example, each pledge final value needs to be calculated manually.

It is obvious that to have a decent game, it has to be well designed, prepared, and decently manufactured. And having so many components makes the task pretty detailed. We have chosen to produce all components in Europe, in Poland to support our local manufacturers and service providers. We aim to deliver a high quality, developed with love and passion, handcrafted product.

  •     External contractors remuneration
& Costs of marketing:
  •     Advertisements (Pre-launch)
  •     Tabletop Simulator prototype development
  •     Fees etc.

In total is 15 Eur

Costs of logistics:

Logistics is getting very expensive, so we decide to partly cover some costs of delivery, and partly charge backers. On average, we add 3-5 EUR to the unit cost to cover this expense.

All in all this sums up to: 20 + 15 + (3-5)= 38-40 EUR.

The remaining 10-12 EUR per unit is our earning that we most probably will reinvest in additional marketing and securing distribution for the game after the end of the crowdfunding campaign.
